Meet The Author

Kat Mitropoulos

When I was younger, I would have these stories constantly going through my head. Something happened to me in 2009 where I felt like if I didn't write one of my stories down, I would explode, which sounds dramatic, but I was 16, and 16-year-olds tend to be dramatic.

So I wrote the dang thing and looking at that first book, I want to cry; it's so bad.

But to me, back then, it was something huge and just for me. No one outside my family knew I wrote, and I loved it that way.

So I wrote another story, and six books later, I still hadn't told a soul about my writing.

Then 2020 came, and another story started building in my head. I felt like I had something special here, and when I felt God was leading me to publish this one, I knew it would be significant.

Writing The Problem With Mortals was one of the best, most challenging things I have ever done.

But I wrote this book because I believed in it. I wrote the kind of book I wanted to read, and I'm happy to share with the world something that I kept very dear to my heart all these years.
